Cleaned slides and balls. Applied WD-40 Dry Lubricant. Slides great, but now it is noisy. Is there some other lubricant I should use?

I was told to use silicone for sticking drawers of a recently painted file cabinet.Home depot told me they didn't have the silicon you spray in locks but they had silicon calk. I put the silicon on all the wood edges and the tracks but as they dry they seem to have a rubbery feel. Should I spray these areas with a lithium or dry spray, now?

This is the stupidest article I have ever read on a subject so basic as getting wood to slide over itself easily. The subject for wooden slides is tribology. Must have been written by an AI program that never learned how to differentiate subjects as vastly different as metal and wooden slides. That's called Artificial Stupidity or ASs. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
